Music First Productions Inc is a production studio and booking/promotion company just outside of Nashville, TN.
CEO/Producer John Salaway is a Grammy considered artist, songwriter and musician who has worked with some of the biggest names in the biz. He has a Bachelor's degree in Recording Industry/Music Business from MTSU. His own music has been featured on radio all over the world and he recently received a #1 on the indie radio charts and features on Ditty TV, WMOT, CBS, NBC, Americana UK, Glide Magazine, Wide Open Country Magazine, No Depression, Sirius XM, American Songwriter and many more. His recent music features guest musicians from the Foo Fighters, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Cage the Elephant, Smashing Pumpkins, Anderson East & Peter Frampton's band.
Studio engineer Joshua Koskela graduated from the United States Armed Forces School of Music in 1999. He then served in the USMC band as well as the Army band from 1999-2008 as a trumpet player, live sound engineer & recording engineer. After finishing his tenure of serving our country, Joshua attended and graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science in audio engineering, and an Associate’s degree in music in 2012. Since then, he has become one of the most sought after studio and live mixing engineers in Nashville.
